## PosePointer

Hand tracking from an ordinary webcam, turned into a steady pointer that web pages see as ordinary mouse or touch input. Pages don't need to change: PosePointer only turns a pose into pointer actions.

- Click today: point and hold still (dwell). Pinch to click is the target for version 1.0.
- Desktop Chrome: controls other websites through an extension. Private testing; not in the Chrome Web Store; no release date.
- Desktop Chrome or Edge: the anatomy mirror demo runs in the browser.
- Android phones: the mirror runs, more slowly, with a lighter hand wireframe. No control of other websites.
- Tablets: not tested. Standalone app: planned, not built.
- Not claimed: speed or latency numbers (they wait for a recorded test per device), any public release date.
- How it's checked: recorded hand tracks are replayed through the unchanged gesture code in a headless browser; the showcase film's cursors are real runs, labelled replayed or live; demo releases go through a gated deploy with browser probes and automatic rollback.
- Demos on tommytai.dev all run on PosePointer itself. The mirror is PosePointer's own mirror page; the cursor replay (https://tommytai.dev/replay), logo demo (https://tommytai.dev/brand) and joint-angle demo (https://tommytai.dev/joints) load the PosePointer web library 0.1.1 as one script and receive only ordinary pointer and click events. The gesture mode is a preset id (default dwell-fingertip; pinch-index on the replay), so swapping it is one setting.

## Anatomy mirror

A browser demo: 3D models of the hand and forearm muscles and bones follow the user's hands on their own webcam. A slider fades the camera image to show more anatomy. Full 3D on laptops and desktops with Chrome or Edge; a lighter wireframe on Android phones.

- Try it: https://tommytai.dev/mirror (webcam needed).
- Joint-angle demo: https://tommytai.dev/joints (hand tracking by PosePointer). Tracking estimates, for learning only.
- Anatomy models: BodyParts3D, (c) The Database Center for Life Science (DBCLS), CC BY 4.0.
